The Support for Patients and Communities Act (H.R. 6)* becomes active January 1, 2021, and requires providers to use electronic prescriptions for controlled substances (EPCS) for all CS II, III, IV, and V Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan (MA-PD) transactions.
