What do you like best?
SendGrid is a total email service provider with lots of features, including sending emails. SendGrid offers a wide range of features, and it is very customizable at the same time, giving an option to choose from. They have some great tools and API's for developers, which makes it easy to integrate the code and develop stuff according to our needs rather than doing it all manually. Sendgrid is reasonably priced and does exactly what it promises to do. The overall experience with Send Grid is great in technicalities and features however seeks improvement in response time by customer services. If you are an application developer who wants to send emails to your customers this is the service you should be using because it is well equipped in features and it won't cost you a lot. Send Grid has well fitted plans for every need of a developer however, their customer support is not that great as the response time is long and their communication skills are limited.
What do you dislike?
SendGrid is one of the leading global transactional email delivery companies. Their user interface is sometimes confusing, and their email builder lacks many features. They score low on their customer services and don't have a good business intelligence unit to help them make a change in the coming time. If you are one of those people who send tons of emails every day, then Sendgid is the right app for you. The tool is easy to use and allows sending emails from 5 to 500 people. Not only that it also offers an extended set of features such as customizable templates and skip links.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
SendGrid has never failed our expectations in delivering emails. We are using them for all our internal operations. From sending a verification email on our products to a database insert/update request. As we use them as a platform, we can change many things very quickly and effectively. SendGrid's Web API is RESTful so that you can interact with our system using either an HTTP GET request or a POST call. You can also interact using an SDK set for the language of your choice. The library available for Ruby makes sending emails as simple as printing to stdout (yes, that is correct.) Cast an email to SendGrid, and it will be sent out immediately. If you have ever used their email service, then you know it is fast.
