Writer has everything you would expect from a modern, fully equipped word processor. It is simple enough for a quick memo, yet powerful enough to create complete books with contents, diagrams, indexes, etc. You’re free to concentrate on your ideas while Writer makes them look great.

Advanced user of Apache OpenOffice WriterWhat I like best about this software is that it is free to download for anyone who wants to use it, whether it be for school, business, or anything else. I also like the fact that is has features that are very, very comparable to what you would find in Microsoft Word. As such, you are able to design and compose your document in a matter that is very similar to what you would be getting from what would be considered a more "premium" word processing software.
Although there is more that I like than dislike about this software, I would have to mention that some, not all, of the commonly used features of this software are "hidden" within the toolbar at the top of the screen. In other words, sometimes it may be a bit challenging to find the feature you need to use, such as creating a subscript/superscript, footnote, and the like. Other than that, there is not much I have left to point out as it relates to what I dislike about this software.
I would recommend that everyone who composes any sort of documents gives this software a try, as there is literally nothing to lose. I am sure that many people who take the plunge would find using this software very enjoyable.
By using this software, I am able to solve problems relating to document composition. This software allows me to comfortably and efficiently write documents without any random glitches which I have experienced with other similar software. Some of the benefits I have realized is that I will not have to expend additional funds on having to buy a new computer in order to have a more "premium" software be compatible on my relatively older device. Instead, this software manufacturer keeps older versions of the software available to download pretty much at all times, which allows for me to simply use an older version of the software if I do not want to upgrade my computer in its entirety. Overall, this software provides a seamless service when it comes to my being able to compose documents, edit them, and safely save them for future access.
