What do you like best?

Penflip has a minimalistic interface design. It has a very powerful easy command line, because it allows you to add each project in a different git repository. It has good features to annotate, insert images or text. What suits me most is that your revision history is instantly updated when you make a modification.

What do you dislike?

Like any new platform in the market, it is presenting saturation on its servers that cause the website to fall for seconds. I also believe to make themselves known they should have better prices, since they are very expensive and even above those of GitHub both by user and by team.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

In the future, this platform may compete with Github, for now, I would only use it as a backup site or just to not load so many projects in a repository. Penflip is expensive and is still under development, so its servers are not yet coupled to receive a large number of users.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The organization where I work was looking for an alternative to GitHub to store private projects and Penflip was chosen. In addition to allowing us to upload the projects, we can also upload PDF and ePUB files, an additional that was not among our plans but has benefited us greatly since we do not have to use the company's server to upload these files.
