Best Takeoff Software I've Used

What do you like best?

I really like how easy the takeoff software is to use. When I'm asked about a certain section of a project, I can quickly use Methvin to get the numbers and quantities to the guys out in the field. It is very accurate once you get a good ruler set and this allows me to trust my numbers and not waste time double checking. I have not really got into the other things they offer such as pricing and gantt charts.

What do you dislike?

I'm still fairly new to the software, but I do not believe it allows for a "backspace" while measuring something. You can move your polygon and length measures after you're done measuring, but I would like to be able to make a change while measuring.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Before this product, I was measuring everything by a ruler and I would forget if I had measured something already or not. I would also forget where I came up with some of my numbers. Now I color code and label different things and can easily show others in the office where exactly my numbers are coming from.
