What do you like best?
OpenRoads Designer is going in a great direction. Moving away from many external files that house the data and maintaining the data in the DGN is awesome. The user interface is excellent and the way Bentley maintains the same basic look and feel and familiar tools is very powerful and appreciated.
What do you dislike?
The tools for subsurface utilities could be improved.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are using ORD to accomplish drainage designs currently. We will be using it for Road design very soon. The benefits are the vast tools available to accomplish our designs and drawing production. Its intuitive, stable, and wonderfully consistent with the positive parts of past versions of Bentley products.
