Modeling with realworld families
What do you like best?
Being able to model with real fittings that have true takeoffs is a huge benefit. It gives us the ability to model piping runs how we would like to install them and the ability to see if it will work in the real world. Also, that gives us the ability to fabricate accurately. Our field guys have used to the 3D Navisworks model to pull dimensions and have made the comment that it felt like they were cheating with how easy and accurate the measurements showed.
What do you dislike?
I wish that the hangers showed bangers on the ends. That would allow us to see if there would be any potential conflicts with the locations of them. I also wish that the spooling function was more streamlined.
