Advanced user of EvidentAbsolutely nothing. Since implementation, I have not heard a single positive thing about this system from anyone in the facility.
It's like going back in time. - Our clinic physicians cannot even get a diagnosis across the interface so charges can be billed. We are literally having our physicians hand write orders and diagnosis codes. In relation to that, the providers also do not get a notification they have outstanding lab results and it is so difficult for them to go back and forth between results and their documentation that we are now printing paper copies of results and giving them to the physicians. You read that correctly, we are seriously back on paper using this system.
The system software appears as though it has not been updated since before Windows came out. The lab module is the worst; we're basically back to DOS for many of our functions. For example, if we want to report a "less than," we type @< the number. Sometimes it's a forward slash. Sometimes it's a C for comment. Sometimes it's "COM" for comment. Actually, this system is SO BAD, it cannot even recognize lower case letters in any part of the software or punctuation in any test descriptions.
To add to the software problems (see above), the employees have fancy titles (implementation architect, client success manager, data management specialist) but are, for the most part incompetent. We have had to submit information four or five times to get anything done. If someone is finally responsive to our questions and problems, my most common answer has been along the lines of "that is beyond the capabilities of the software," "we are not set up to provide that function," etc. The other most common response is "I don't know why it is doing that."
I have been doing this job for 30 years and this is company and its product are barely one step above the original DOS programs and LIS systems that did not interface. It does interface with our analyzers but they cannot even do that right.
I feel like I get pushed around from "specialist" to "specialist" and get the same answers over and over, which is that they cannot meet our needs.
We are having to hire a full time IT person just to handle all the problems we are having. You get what you pay for and this company has caused us so much time and frustration and cost way too much for the end result. STAY AWAY!!!
STAY AWAY!!!
Again, nothing. This system has caused us more problems, cost us money in the sense of reimbursements and their a la carte training and services have made it more expensive as time goes on.
