Windows 10 is familiar and easy to use, with lots of similarities to Windows 7 including the Start menu. It starts up and resumes fast, has more built-in security to help keep you safe, and is designed to work with software and hardware you already have.

Advanced user of Windows 10The design is seamless and beautiful. I have gotten used to the start menu. It works best when you have a touchscreen laptop or tablet. The apps in the windows store make the experience better. And if you have a surface with an S Pen, it is even better. The versatility of a windows device alone with windows OS is comparable to iPads. We had come a far way since Windows 97, when I first learned how to use a computer.
I have had a lot of issues with crashing on both my devices. More than on any other version of windows I've ever used. Including Vista. I am not sure if it's an issue with updates or not. When I last spoke with windows support, they told me that it might be drivers out of date that need to be manually updated... which I do not understand how windows update does not automatically take care of this. It's a bit annoying.
It is the tried and true OS. It's been around for years now. One is either a mac or a windows user, depending on their field but going back to windows is second nature to most of us.
I have never been a Mac user, so I default to windows for work, school, and recreational activities. I like how easy it is to customize, and most of the software I use is only compatible with Windows.
