VersaPay ARC delivers on giving us an easy to use customer portal!

What do you like best?

Our customers enjoy the ease of use (with or without a login) and the auto pay options. Invoices are delivered direct to customers along with payment reminders and customer statements, so our AR is automated and we can even view if/when the customer views our invoice- a feature our ERP did not offer. Our staff enjoys using VersaPay ARC as a quick lookup tool for when customers call in to look at their account history since it's a bit easier to search & bring up invoices compared to our ERP.

What do you dislike?

Once in a while, we have customers utilizing a purchasing card and they have issued us a one time card #, pre-approved for a certain one time charge amount with an expiration date in a day or two and we are unable to apply the exact amount due to either a credit being taken on the remittance or the fact that they may have double paid a certain invoice and it is no longer open on their account; therefore we cannot charge the correct amount via VersaPay. This makes us unable to process the customers' payment exactly as instructed and we end up having to utilize our old merchant provider website just to get the payment in the door. It would be helpful to have a miscellaneous charge and/or credit amount so that we can process credit card payments in full as needed, like a true merchant provider.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We solved the issue of automating reminder emails to customers about invoices coming due, past due, etc., and distributing customer statements. We also added the option for customer payments via ACH debit (one time and auto-recurring). Now, we have the ability to easier track DSO & ADP in real time right on the VersaPay ARC Dashboard which is helpful when reporting to management.
