Uber For Pickup Trucks

What do you like best?

I visited my our office in San Diego because I will be helping them move from their old office to our new office. They have contacted someone to help with the transportation but only to find out that he will be canceling last minute. Good thing there was Uber For Pickup Trucks. It is similar to Uber because most of their drivers are also independent contractors. The driver was accommodating because he even asked his brother to help us with the lifting and transferring of our heavy stuff.

What do you dislike?

I don't have anything to dislike about this type of business model since it helps van or truck owners get other means of income while they are on a rest day or holiday break. Not to mention, those who are unemployed that are given the opportunity to have a full-time job by just accepting the transfer and transporting contracts. Keep up the good work!

Recommendations to others considering the product:

They should get more independent contractors to do this service. I bet this will be the next big thing like Airbnb and their carpooling counterpart.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It helps us to conveniently find a pickup truck and a driver that will help us transfer stuff from our old office to our new ones. It saved us much time, and the cost is not that expensive too.
