TVEyes allows us to easily track our media interviews and media value much easier than any other way
What do you like best?
I like that I can create reports to see how many media instances we had and what the media value is. I have to track our media instances every month and TV Eyes allows me to go in the interface and search for keywords. Such as our organization name, to find all mentions in our local area. We monitor four tv stations in our area and I am able to find all that I need to through their reports. Once I export the reports, then I can track the number of instances, not only for one keyword, but for more since it is an excel sheet file. I then add up the media value and share it with my supervisor who keeps a report of it.
What do you dislike?
it would be better if we could get an already trimmed pick of our media segment. There are times that I receive some clips in the report with words that are not part of our name.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would choose tv eyes if you really want something that is more user friendly and is able to be managed by more than one person.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
we are facilitating tracking of our media coverage. Before tv eyes, we did not know of a way to track our instances of media via television. We would only organically search our organization on google or by its google alerts. Once we did TV Eyes, we were able to closely monitor where and when we were being mentioned at a local and national level. I am also able to save those video clips so I can use them on our social media or our annual report.
