What do you like best?

I like the SaaS model for apps like this, as it will work regardless of what your internal network application stack looks like. I like that it can be used by specific business units for specific purposes without removing or changing large parts of the corporate network. I like that it just ... works. There is not a lot of configuration or integration steps here.

What do you dislike?

I don't like that Trokt didn't have a full list of regulatory compliance attestation documentation available to hand. I'm looking for SOCII, ISO****, etc. We would need to review this vendor specifically in order to use the service. I didn't like how we can't easily integrate alerts or logs from the platform with our in-house Security Operations Center, or our third party offshored Managed Security Services Provider.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Very easy to demo this. Give it a try, it will only take a couple of hours for a full Proof of Technology.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Managing document security for a specific use case within a specific business unit with unusual legal and regulatory compliance requirements. A key requirement was to be able to get this system operational in less than 1 week, which is no mean feat for larger organizations (20k+ users). We did realize immediate benefits and were able to carry out the use case immediately.
