What do you like best?
TOAST is like a happy marriage between Aloha and Micros. It has great programming capabilities, the POS interface is simple and straightforward, and the ability to add/change/delete items, prices, employees right from my phone is extremely convenient.
What do you dislike?
There are some programming limitations. I don't love their reports, and they don't translate well to Excel files. I would also love to be able to better control and analyze inventory and P&Ls through the software and have it produce AvsT reports. As someone who is managing a 100-seat 50+ staff restaurant by myself, I don't have time to sit down and go through those numbers manually.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
TOAST is very responsive to customer service needs. Their chat platform is simple (I abhor talking on the phone), and you're chatting with a real person, not a robot. Often if they can't provide a solution to the current programming, I find that the issue is resolved within the next system update.
