Advanced user of tm5Excellent organization. User-friendly for beginners in treasury tools. It is an excellent solution for mid-sized organizations that can offer many treasury solutions like the FX exposures, the daily reconciliation and the payments via SWIFT which can save a lot of time. The benefits compared to the costs are much greater. Additionally, it can be SAS so no IT involvement during the implementation.
The compatibility with various ERP systems is not ideal so we had to create custom made CSV files to make the connection possible. Also for recording the intercompany relationships it was not so easy to report them from through the system. In general the reporting capabilities of the system were limited.
It was the best decision we made to replace excel with tm5. We saved a lot of time from receiving all the bank statements in one system and making all the payments from one system. We also gained full cash visibility and better view on our FX exposure.
