Advanced user of TeamMate+The application is web based and updates in real time. TM+ is extremely customizable for SOX and audit teams which can be dialed in over time for best fit. The system layout is logical and requires little training to start working in.
I wish that TM+ would have a 'trash can' feature where recently deleted items are archived temporarily. I wish the comment boxes in TM+ used for documentation purposes, were larger and could be easily resized. The current box size and structure is often not enough space to fully document a process, test step or control. A workaround is to draft explanations in MS Word and paste them into TM+, however if TM+ wants to be an all in one solution they should invest in documentation friendly features. Check out documents is cumbersome and sloppy. The team has noted it is much easier to delete old versions of documents and replace them with new one rather then checking out and checking in documents. I have also personally experienced errors when uploading large files. TM+ should continue to iron out the kinks of this system.
TM+ has been a great source documentation tool for the Internal Audit team. It is great for storing documents year over year and can be easily be recalled at a moments notice. Access is easily provisioned between team and company members and it has saved time and effort within our team once set up.
