Advanced user of Sync.comI like how it syncs to the desktop so files are easily accessible. There is version history in case a file is written over, I can go back and restore a previous file. I like how links can be password protected and you can specify who has access to what folder.
I do not like how two people can work on one file at the same time and it creates two different versions (vs. collaborating in real time or locking the other person out until finished). This creates the headache of trying to figure out what changes were made on what document.
It's a great tool for the price compared to the other file storage tools with all the bells and whistles. What it lacks it makes up for in price.
We are using it for file storage and sharing. We are able to have the company internally work on documents and have them be stored in one place. We can also send our clients password protected files.
