Advanced user of Stellar Data Recovery – Windows ProfessionalThe GUi is intuitive, user-friendly and provides the tools and options to search and recover data you thought may be lost due to Windows not recognizing the drive, or portions of the drive being corrupted. The deep scan option often brings back additional data you may not have realized was lost or knew you wanted/needed.
Overall there isn't much not too like, other than it does have difficulty at times recognizing a drive connected via USB that other recovery software can see and access. it's also a bit slow at scanning the drives, but when dealing with 1+ TB size drives, that is understandable.
I've used Stellar at different companies I have worked for, including one of the earliest versions called Stellar Phoenix in the early 2000's. Stell has many times allowed us to recover business critical data internally thereby saving hundreds if not thousands of dollars by not sending the drive to a third party for attempted data recovery. It also allows us to keep that data internal, so the security risk is minimized and that is helpful when dealing with business critical, PHI and HIPAA data.
