Easy to transfer orders with the adapter but needs work in the middle stages
What do you like best?
I like how easy it is to click a few buttons, and you get all your orders in the system regardless of how many there are. The way that system works makes it very simple to keep up with order fulfillment saving you possible hours of work based on your workload, which you would have to do manually through a data entry worker. It also helps avoid possible user errors that come with immense workloads.
What do you dislike?
The problem is not totally on SPS, but sometimes the middle workings of the site (what comes between receiving the POs and Sending the invoices) can be time-consuming and tedious. You have to do a lot of setting up to make it work semi-automatic. Even after you have completed the whole set up you need to constantly go in and manually fill spaces that should be automatically filled by the system from the "Order File," and they are not. They should also have some extra settings for Inventory pulling; many companies ask to track inventory on a daily basis. The way the inventory files are set up makes it very, very time consuming; it would be much more worth to have the system if the inventory would have some automatic filling/pulling instead of manually going in every day and going down the list to fill, however many SKUs you have for each one of the companies.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We aren't solving any particular problems; our older setups were working fine. We wanted to focalize the work in one place and try to have it a little bit more automatized than it was in the past.
