Advanced user of S&P Capital IQ PlatformI used Capital IQ when I was working in the Private Equity sector, mainly to screen for potential investors to our fund. It wqs really helpful since they have a huge database and offer a lot of beneficial information about the company in question. I actually tried other platforms too but Capital IQ was the most user friendly one and the one that was helpful and efficient the most.
The filters sometimes are not helpful. Also, while the platform perfectly covers EU and US region, it doesn't cover the MENA region that well.
I have successfully found many potential investors for our funds using Capital IQ. Contact details were even sometime included, with a link to the website and a brief introduction too.
