Advanced user of Social TablesI've used Social Tables at my previous venue and my current venue as replacements for older, less usable software. I've found their customer service is almost always above average and they are willing to make as many fixes as needed to get your floorplans up to where they need to be. They are generally quite quick to respond and do pretty well at maintaining personal relationships with their clients.
The BIGGEST downside to Social Tables hands down is the lack of mobile-friendly diagramming. They actually used to provide this service through an app you could download on a tablet or phone, but stopped servicing the app when they did an overhaul of the software. I was very distraught to learn this because I had no clue the app wasn't being updated as well and my staff at both my previous and current venues have tablets specifically so that they can diagram with clients onsite while conducting walkthroughs of the space. I think this needs to be remedied so either the website has a mobile friendly version or the app is updated/recreated immediately, as this is the largest downside and could only benefit them to fix. The other downsides are: they are unable to properly build out heights for spaces so all heights are arbitrary in 3D, gridline darkness/weight cannot be adjusted, you cannot make many adjustments when exporting your diagram as a PDF, and some other minor things.
Definitely ask for the demo to try it yourself. I think you and your clients will love it! Also - help me in asking for better mobile friendly diagramming!! :)
The BEST benefit to Social Tables hands down is being able to provide a link so either your client can assist with editing the diagram or they can view it so you are able to do a phone call and they can watch you make edits live on the diagram. This has been instrumental at my previous and current venue to making clients feel more included in the process and impressed with our software! The diagrams are also clean and easy to read which is beneficial to our staff, especially operations, as well as our clients.
