During my recent claim, I was not given an option about using Snapsheet by the claims examiner at Intact Insurance. When I phoned Snapsheet to find out how to use it, the person I spoke with sounded very bored and did not explain it well.
I do not believe that a claim estimate based on a bunch of photos of the damage is efficient and comprehensive. If the bodyshop discovers other damage, they have to contact the insurer for permission to repair it. This wastes everyone's time.
Just one more example of computerization of a system that has worked perfectly well for 100 years.
