Advanced user of SmartVaultI really like how easy it is to add client folders and share only specific subfolders with them, as well as how easy it is to search, add engagements, and download a list of our clients with specific filters, like tax forms.
It is really inconvenient that you can't edit a document in Smartvault, but instead have to download it, edit it, and then redupload it. When multiple people are working on things it can create issues with duplicate copies.
Smartvault is very user friendly, especially if you are able to download the desktop app!
Our biggest need, as an accounting firm, was for a place that clients could securely send and store financial documents. Smartvault made it easy for them to create an account and have access to whatever folders we allowed them access to, without giving them a way of accessing other clients' files.
