What do you like best?

The simplicity of end to end services that amazon provides that are applicable to the stage you are at within your business i.e. start-up to large corporations!!!

What do you dislike?

Sometimes, it's a little difficult to weed through the volume of product help and tutorials...At first there is almost sensory overload of information. If it were a little more checklist oriented for new users, it would be easier to understand how to get started with SimpleDB.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

As a small business owner that is so much coming at us, we are often band width constricted. Amazon is an amazing partner and we really are so happy we selected you! The only thing we really need is a little more hand holding. A get started checklist for onboarding to simplify the setting up process. In addition, to having a point of contact that is knowledgeable about our business and who can guide us on the specific services we have access to within Amazon that we can leverage to scale. Almost a liaison to help us with forecasting for the year. As in if you use SimpleDb in this way for the next year, you could add the services to enhance your business model!!!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Currently we are a start up who is new to software development. We just launched our first MVP application using Amazon and the SimpleDB is amazing, as it has provided us a work around with ISO27001 and GDPR compliance that we were incredibly worried about from a cost standpoint. But now with amazon's sipple db our user data is safe and secure. Our app is hosted on amazon, and are so glad we chose you as a on demand provider.
