Advanced user of ShiftWorxInexpensive and immediate. FreePoint's ShiftWorx is a great product to get started with an IOT project. They provide a small device that connects directly to your machines that monitor whether the machine is operating or down. The device will seamlessly communicate to an azure cloud every millisecond and provide real-time visibility and performance to the operator. Most shops will have this on dashboard monitors or cell phones. The benefit is truly for the operators who now know if they are doing a good job and strive to 'pain the bar blue'
ShiftWorx does have API's but no out of the box integration to any of the major ERP platforms on the market. It only captures up time and down time. This limits functionality in a repetitive environment as typically you would want to capture production cycle times.
