Advanced user of SendThisFileI have used SendThisFile for almost 5 years now and have been very satisfied, finding it an affordable and dependable secure file transfer solution. I have used other solutions that caused 3x more and not have not found them as easy to use as SendThisFile. I use the Pro Plan, and it has more than met my needs. My clients have also found STF easy to use, which is very important. SendThisFile is flexible and allows users to configure the system the way that will work best for their clients. Some solutions like File Guardian have default settings (like defaulting to securing the email text as opposed to the attachments) which I constantly had inform clients about, or files would not come through. This is not the case with SendThisFile.
My only minor compliant about SendThisFile would be that for Pro Plan users it does not provide G-Suite integration, which is where I live most of the day. Not the end of the world here, as it's not a big deal to login & use STF - and it's pretty easy to save my SendThisFile link and instructions in a dedicated email folder in Gmail. I took a screenshot of my STF client portal and added instructions on how to use it, which helps. I realize that the Enterprise level of service would offer greater email host integration possibilities, but I'm very happy with what I get for the price I pay with SendThisFile.
SendThisFile helps me to keep client data secure - especially because it's easy to use. In my experience, the more complicated the secure file transfer solution is, the less it will be used by clients. While STF does have a free level of service, I'm happy to pay (a very reasonable amount) for the ability for clients to send me files, which is frankly the main reason I needed STF. Having a dedicated website URL as a client secure file transfer portal - that doesn't require a password to access it and can be configured to allow files sent without an upload password - is a convenience and a time saver.
