Advanced user of SAS/ACCESS Interface to ImpalaSAS/ACCESS is a module which provides an easy method to connect to others database systems and allow integration of data extract/load via SAS programming. It's very simple to setup the connection to Impala and use all resources.
The performance and reliability is also a good advantage of using SAS/ACESS.
You can use DataSteps or Proc SQL for data munging inside SAS and create automatized processes.
This is a feature that make the connection to Impala very transparent using a libname so for security matters the developer needs to be always aware about where the data is being updated/loaded.
