What do you like best?

What's most helpful about Rise is that it's pretty simple to use. It is nothing like Storyline, which is not that easy. You can master the interface and start building a course within an hour or less. I particularly like the three interactive learning tools, flashcards, labeled graphic, and sorting. Rise courses also look good, as they are based on built-in templates.

What do you dislike?

Even if you build a great course in Rise, you still have to find a way to get it to your learners. For small numbers, you can just share a link. For larger numbers, you may need to put in into another LMS, as I do. It can be tricky to export Rise SCORM files for import into another system, which, in my case is Canvas. Also, it is fairly expensive and, I believe, is only available as part of Articulate 360.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get the Articulate 360 trial version and check it out. Think about how you will distribute the Rise courses you create.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The problem I'm solving is the need for interactive e-learning items in Canvas. By importing Rise "courses," each made up of a single activity, I am adding interactive elements to Canvas, which doesn't have these options.
