What do you like best?
I like that the software is set up in a modular fashion so you can pick and choose what to implement and regardless of what you implement, they all work seamlessly together or without a component. The training was excellent and met all the end points and was not a sales pitch for other modules as they tend to become.
What do you dislike?
The agile sprint methodology to implement requires a little getting used to for people who have not actually implemented the agile sprint program. A little more support in documentation and flow processes development would be helpful, otherwise you have to utilize your own Business Analyst to help you with this.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We were trying to to implement a modular solution that addressed various components of security command and control. A Dispatch System connected to an Incident Reporting/Management System. We also needed to utilize the Security Risk Assessment module to provide more detailed risk analysis based on dispatches and reported incidents as all the modules talk to each other. We also can customize modules like the Investigations Management module for a specific group such as the counterfeiting team, separate from the regular incident reporting on campus. We also wanted to add an extension to our access control alarm monitoring feature by utilizing the CCURE Connector module which allows a dispatch to be created for access control door alarms like held open/forced open alarms where a dispatch is created automatically and the SOC officer has to assign an officer to the dispatch to investigate the alarm. We also like that all the reporting is centrally located within the application and can be connected to a Tableau dashboard.
