Raysync, the cost-effective FAST Large File Sharing Solution
What do you like best?
Raysync is very efficient when it comes to large file sharing and file transfer across distant continents such as China and India. The technology fundamentally resolves the problem for our clients who faced constant frustration over the conventional FTP methods - which is too slow. It is highly recommended to workflows that involve large data sets or media being used by different workforces due to economic circumstances across global distances.
What do you dislike?
- Unable to open and preview files in the current web UI, although the functionality is rapidly growing, and new features are being added recently.
- Slightly difficult for non-IT personnel to deploy the server, but the company provides immense technical support for deployment.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We have absolutely benefitted from the transfer technology offered under Raysync. With our approximate 150Mbps upload bandwidth, we can achieve an average upload speed of around 130Mbps into the cloud storage provided. So realistically, transferring a 10 GB file can be done under just 10 minutes, compared to the unthinkable long hours of using traditional FTP solutions. And in terms of total data transferred, you only have to upload it once, and then you can push it to as many client downloads as you desired across distant continents. One other thing we would like to take the opportunity to commend is Raysync's support team, the support from Raysnc is fast and reliable. We had a few very good experiences when issues were raised and we were able to get our issues resolved quickly. Most solutions are provided within a day so you can expect a quick turnaround time.
