Basically, its a programming language can be used for ML and Statistics. I used it during my engineering on one the project called as Online Slambook to derive insights of available data.

As its a machine learning and Data Mining technology available in Java Lib toolbox. We can derive Stats of any data. Very helpful for Data Mining on Big Data.
