What do you like best?
Streamlined order entry; fast once you learn how to use.
What do you dislike?
Dated user interface; often unintuitive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are required to use RamQuest by your title insurance administrator, there are certainly worse products out there to have to learn. However, there are definitely better ones as well. SoftPro in particular excels where RQ fails; RQ is difficult to learn due mostly to an unintuitive user interface. Rendering documents is also a chore -- to the point where we only use RQ to generate Settlement Statements and manage receipts and disbursements. As I said, however, RQ is not impossible to learn after you spend some time with it, and does get easier to use after the learning curve.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our firm performs only the most basic of cash closings with title insurance. For this, RQ works adequately -- after a steep learning curve.
