Quizlet: The Key to Test Success
What do you like best?
I enjoy the 'Learn' subsection. This section allows you to continuously study your set of cards until the material is burned into your memory. The key to learning terms is to utilize repetitive tasks by whatever means necessary. Quizlet also makes it very feasible to add notecards and to add images to your notecards which can be very helpful at times.
What do you dislike?
I dislike how it doesn't have “language” for most subjects. For example, with biology, psychology or physiology, there is not selection (while making your cards) for a 'language' that will act as a proofreader (unlike for chemistry where there is one). This makes it more difficult to correct yourself or even recognize a mistake for your study set.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not buy Quizlet plus UNLESS you need extra support beyond creating and studying cards. Quizlet can also be slow at times, especially if you have large set, but be patient because it is definitely a study tool worth waiting for. Also, even if you are a high school student, try out Quizlet! It is a truly flexible sight and can be utilized by students of all ages.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Quizlet provides universal use for people within a class or business and can be easily accessed among google. There are few disadvantages and many advantages when using Quizlet in general. It is a perfect tool for highschoolers, college students, etc. and contains a free version that is perfect for the average person! Unlike competitor websites, like Chegg and the Princeton Review, there is a n accessible version of Quizlet for everyone! Another benefit to using Quizlet is that you can access other people's work sets that may help you study and build your own.
