What do you like best?
The variety of customizations and features that are available throughout the software that allows the system to grow with our lab and program. I began implementation of the software as a beginner and have since expanded use and training to 3 different divisions in our program. Each division has unique needs that Qualtrax easily expands to include.
What do you dislike?
No ability to automatically send a "read and understand" test with a new document. Creating the same test for each document is time consuming and monotonous.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be realistic about your expectation and critically evaluate what areas of your process are most important. Evaluate the abilities of your staff and yourself.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our labs are geographically distanced, so having a centralized electronic system that can be accessed from anywhere at anytime has been a time saver for document review and approval. Additionally, many of our processes involve multiple steps and people, the workflow feature has been a time saver for these processes. we have implemented workflows for many different tasks and have been able to easily rollout these workflows with minimal training and maximum compliance.
