Incredibly powerful system without any extra features that just get in the way
What do you like best?
I love how easy it is to use and to learn. It is intuitive and full of features that make writing test cases a breeze. As a QA Engineer, writing test cases are just part of the job, but I secretly hate them. But ever since I started using Qase, I actually don't mind working on them. Using Qase is quite fun. It makes my OCD heart so happy with its organizational abilities and how everything ties together.
What do you dislike?
I have one tiny enhancement request. I use the heck out of your Shared Steps, so I've created quite the list. It would be super helpful if you would allow us to tag these in some way then group them by tags so that when it's time to use them on a test, we can search for the step by tag. As it is right now, I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find the test step I want to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an incredibly easy piece of software to pick up and get started with. I had entered my first test case within 10 minutes of signing up.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Prior to using Qase, we were trying to use a Google Sheet for our test cases, and that just wasn't realistic. Our app is incredibly robust and complex and there just wasn't a good way to capture all of the iterations of the test cases on that Google Sheet.
We were constantly finding holes in our testing that let giant, nasty bugs slip through. That is why I went on a hunt for a test case management platform. I knew we had to find a way to corral these test cases and 1) make them more visible, 2) more organized, 3) and provide a better way to execute them for every regression run.
