PROS has elevated our knowledge and disipline around various pricing areas in a positive manner.
What do you like best?
The relative ease of use and ability to get to the data to help explain issues and opportunities. The tool has configured a number of predefined reports that have allowed us to view our data in a number of different ways. The summaries are useful to share with executive level leaders. PROS also has been an excellent partner, helping us continue on our journey of improvement.
What do you dislike?
It does take a long time to get the input data organized and accurate in order to take actions and build credibility. Some of our data is scarce and we are discussing ways to improve and gain better insight from what we have. At times some of the peer groups are insufficient in showing enough comparable references to leverage the data and insights.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk with other users when evaluating for your solution. Key is the ongoing support that PROS provides to help educate and continue to leverage the PROS tool and systems that provide insight to make better, more informed decisions.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our approach to leveraging PROS is to gain insight to the variability that exists among our various customers and driving to more controlled and ensuring that rational decisions are being made with greater visibility. The benefits allow us a quicker response to customers that enable us keeps our customers first in responsiveness and knowing that we value their business. The visibility to Sr. Leadership has grown incredibly, that has led to more robust discussions and smarter conversations.
