What do you like best?

Since autoCAD is the standard for CAD design I love the fact that progeCAD is extremely compatible with every design created or made to be read using autoCAD. It works smoothly for 2D plans drawing and for everybody with a basic knowledge of cad designing using this product is extremely easy. The workspace is really comfortable and makes working with it a complete pleasure. The basic fact that sells this product is how significantly cheaper than autocad it is, for someone on a tight budget this is the best option available.

What do you dislike?

This software tends to have more bugs than I would like, I have used it for a while with a high end computer and it's still buggy and can lag a lot more compared to autoCAD. However the experience is still a good one, I haven't had a single experience where I have lost the data which I was working with.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The recommendation I would give to others considering this software is to go for it, is significantly cheaper than autocad and it will cover any type of needs you might have for designing. You should definetly have a prior knowledge of cad software for you to make the most out of it, nevertheless it is still an easy software to learn from scratch.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The main benefit I have experienced is how much money our company is saving by switching to this product, it can do anything we usually did with autocad and we haven't had any type of issues from our clients with the designs we have submitted to them.
