PoolParty Semantic Suite is the most complete and advanced semantic middleware platform on the global market. It uses innovative means to help organizations build and manage enterprise knowledge graphs as a basis for their AI strategy.

Text Mining and NLP:
PoolParty Semantic Suite uses advanced text mining algorithms and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to automatically extract relevant entities, terms and other metadata from text and documents. An Enterprise Knowledge Graph provides additional value to traditional text mining technologies by adding facts about the extracted entities, helping to drive in-depth text analytics.

Enterprise Knowledge Graph Management:
PoolParty Semantic Suite helps you create and edit enterprise knowledge graphs along the entire Linked Data Lifecycle. A knowledge graph is a rich representation of a knowledge domain that is capable of deriving more understanding out of your data. As a result, you will maximize the value and usage of your data even if it is stored in various data systems.

Graph Automation:
PoolParty Semantic Suite is based on supervised machine learning and supports the creation and management of Enterprise Knowledge Graphs in a highly automated way. It is used to break down data silos by linking data from various departments and organizations. PoolParty Semantic Suite helps enterprises to tackle challenges with data management and data integration in an orchestrated manner along the whole Linked Data Lifecycle.

Semantic AI Applications:
Experience shows that AI initiatives often fail due to the lack of appropriate data. Using Semantic AI allows for the combination of thoroughly selected methods to solve common use cases such as classification and recommendation with high precision. An enterprise knowledge graph is the backbone of a semantic enhanced AI architecture, providing the means for high data quality and thus better Semantic AI applications.

As good as its name!

What do you like best?

PoolParty has a great user experience for the taxonomists and ontologists who work in it regularly. Many other solutions in this category seem outdated, overbuilt for our needs and would have taken lots of time for training.

We were starting from scratch on our enterprise taxonomy project and needed to prove out the value early, which is hard without practically building out the whole thing end-to-end from the outset. But PoolParty made it easy and fast for us to get going with lite version, and better yet, one that would grow with us as we mature. We're able to evolve from hierarchies, to custom relationships, to graph.

We like the solid features like being multi-lingual and multi-thesaural out of the box. PoolParty provides a powerful way to link data and projects. The simple, visual interface can be used in discussions with novice partners or subject matter experts to help them understand the structure.

What do you dislike?

The API response was sometimes funky, though solved through support tickets. PoolParty is made/owned in Austria by Semantic Web Company, and the business relationship to their resellers could be made simpler and more direct for support in the US.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Designing a centralized taxonomy to unify content and data across silos, we've been able to improve data and content quality, tagging and interoperability.

Improved our search rankings, search accuracy, findability, as well as our user experiences both internally and externally.

Reduced duplication across teams and systems/platforms, saving money.
