Advanced user of PlanHammerI love the simplicity of PlanHammer and how user friendly it is. It neatly organizes all of your items into simple and easy to understand gantt charts. I was able to introduce this software to colleagues who are less familiar with some of today's technologies, and they were able to pick it up quickly and easily. The ability to see the same information in multiple visualization formats (i.e. gantt vs. agile vs. list) is extremely useful and allows for personalizing the boards.
Pricing. While PlanHammer does offer a 30-day fee trial, the price for a group of 1-10 members is $20/month. For the simplicity of the platform relative to alternatively available tools, I wish they had different pricing options.
While it can be nice that it is web-based and does not require a true download to operate, having the option for a mobile app would be beneficial to many users.
Great for those wanting something simple in the way of PM. Still, other tools are available with free versions.
I have primarily used PlanHammer for project planning timelines and task lists. This has helped myself and colleagues stay clear on what tasks need to be completed and when. Taking a step back, it also allows me to present long term goals to my supervisor without getting into the weeds of individual tasks. Implementing this PM platform has really helped our team become more efficient and to plan for projects well ahead of time.
