What do you like best?

The user-friendliness is really outstanding. The controls and icons are sharp and laid out neatly by default. We can customize our workspace to suit our needs. We can clear panels we don't need and just focus on the tools we need. There are hotkey options to let us get through design projects faster. The presets are excellent and there are many to choose from.

What do you dislike?

I have had an overall positive experience with Pixelmator from top to bottom. It may not allow for detailed editing the way that Photoshop or Lightroom allow for, but it mostly works the way I want and does allow for more advanced adjustments than typical photo apps.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Use it for a wide variety of image editing needs. You can also create vector graphics, which is ideal when printing on large areas.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Photo editing can be done much faster. I can use intuitive sliders and field settings to make quick adjustments that can be viewed instantly. I don't have to pay a high fee for software that gives me super value for creative work.
