What do you like best?
This Company and Software could fulfill a need in the Pest Control Industry because there are advantages to the actual software when I compare it to the other companies in this market space. Servpro, Pestpac, Service Auto Pilot, Route Rite. The cost of the service is also a plus.
What do you dislike?
Unable to group locations under a Bill to account allowing the Client the ability to have just one login to the portal. Email reminders have no way to know if they have been sent without talking to the client they were sent to. The routing module is not as easy to use and therefore takes more time for routing costing more on labor.
The largest problem though is their lack of Communication especially after COVID restrictions. Emails are not answered and when they are it is more of a generic response. My personal experience with them compares to when I first started using PestPac in 2006. It is a good product but the ability to communicate effectively with their customer lacked especially on the West Coast as they were based on the East Coast. My hopes are that with some time and with the company recognizing their shortcomings when it comes to communication and correcting them, PestRoutes could really Compete in the market. My issue with PestRoutes is that when our Company made the decision to switch to PestPac and I sent in an email explaining our intentions to cancel and asking them what the process is. I had to send three emails over the period of 2 weeks to finally get a response and that response was not to explain the process as I asked but it only asked the reasons why. I was kind enough to take the time to tell them why and then I received an email that wanted me to elaborate. First of all I am not responsible for helping them fix their issues and second, I was in the process of changing over our system so as anyone knows this is a very time consuming process while still operating the business so I did not respond back other than to ask for confirmation of the cancellation. At that point I did not receive a response until I then sent another email 5 days later asking for confirmation at which time I still had not gotten an answer about the process other than what I was experiencing which was them dragging out the cancellation and then charging me another monthly fee and also allowing customers to still pay thru the Client Portal which I assumed(bad on me) they would not be able to.
All of this to say that a simple response either by phone or email which explained how the cancellation Process works would have saved me from not just money spent but more importantly the time to continually try to confirm that my account was cancelled. I also would not be spending the time to write this review.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have worked with several software companies, workwave or pestPac, SAP, Route Rite, Servpro and this is the best value by far.

Routing and scheduling. Also billing has been much improved since switching from Service Auto Pilot.
