Swiss Army knife of personalization and CRO
What do you like best?
I like how how after the last release Personizely incorporates not just personalization but also traditional multi variate CRO with split testing options. So I don't have to choose between it and another CRO tool like Google Optimize.
I love how the personalization is not only on page but also via dynamic lead gen and onsite remarketing widgets.
The depth and breadth of personizalization are astounding, so if you understand your user journey and user personas, you can set personalized funnels for each. Graceful fallbacks are supported for each dynamic personalization.
The new addition of Goals is very powerful to truly measure the performance of your experiments. Goals can be not just landing page based, but JS events too, making them very versatile.
For B2B use cases, there're a native and very powerful integration with Hyperise, which allows a sophisticated marketer with a bit of imagination to really knock his prospect's socks off.
What do you dislike?
The widget editor is pretty nice but could be better. Some cutting edge features for widgets are missing (2 screen forms, social sign-in) but this is not really a complaint as they're missing from most providers, really just something that I would have improved if I could wave a magic wand, but still, even as is, their widgets are functional and beautiful.
Their integrations are upon the whole very extensive, but for one of my biggest use cases, I'd like to use Gist for email marketing, and a native integration is not supported. I'm used to seeing widespread integration support for Gist, but I can still get around it via Personizely's web hook support. Just not ideal.
I am nitpicking as there's pretty much nothing to dislike.
Oh! I wish there were a proper integration with WooCommerce, just like they support for Shopify, but I understand it's coming in late 2020. This tool is AMAZING for ecommerce, and it's a shame to limit its power to only the Shopify neck of the woods.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Generic calls to action have low conversion rates. With personizely I can make my users feel like they're being treated like individuals, not like a generic cohort. It's great for personalizing the user journey and showing each user what's most relevant to them.
