What do you like best?

I love using PadMapper to help me find comparable rents in specific areas. As a commercial real estate agent, it is crucial to know the market rents when evaluating certain properties and markets. This is also very helpful for people who are trying to find somewhere new to live.

What do you dislike?

I wish that they showed past listing of property rents. It would be helpful to know the history of the rents in a specific area or even for a specific property. This would also be helpful to provide some insight on how an area has changed year to year in terms of rental rates. Other than that, I think PadMapper is doing an outstanding job and really stands up to compete with larger brands such as Apartments.com

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I recommend using PadMapper to search for current available apartment and AirBnB listings. It is a great resource for both agents and property owners. It is also very useful for tenants to see if they are getting charged above market rates for rent in their area. The largest benefit is to people searching for new places to live.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have used PadMapper consistently to help underwrite properties and determine the values of those specific properties based off of the potential market rents that can be achieved in a certain area. PadMapper is very insightful when it comes to really learning how a specific market operates based on the rets that are being charged in that area.
