Paddle is a great way for sellers based anywhere to set up recurring payments in SaaS products
What do you like best?
I use Paddle to sell monthly subscriptions to a website builder for webcomic artists.
What I like the most about Paddle is that unlike many of its competitors, it supports sellers from almost every country, including mine.
Setting up Paddle's "branded inline checkout" and webhooks in my code was easy and everything works. Paddle also takes care of everything related to payments, such as collecting the correct amount of VAT for every user, so that I can focus on building the product.
The admin dashboard is easy to use and feature-complete, and the user interface keeps improving every month. I've also contacted support a couple of times through the dashboard and they always respond quickly.
What do you dislike?
Paddle works well and doesn't have any significant downsides. My only feature request is to have the ability to fully develop the user interface of the Paddle checkout using my own text fields, buttons, fonts, etc. instead of having to rely on Paddle's limited styling options.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I'm a founder from Lebanon and Paddle was the only solution I found that could enable me to accept payments from my users. I've used Paddle for a couple of years now and found that everything just works. I've already received my first payout and I'm about to receive my second one soon. I highly recommend it.
