Advanced user of Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS)->Easy of use oracle provides a good platform to use the RMS and as well as other retail applications
->Nice documentation , whenever there is a release we get the updated user guides from oracle which is of both technical and business users.
->RMS solution covers all modules, such as transfers, purchase orders, store set up and etc.
->Good support from the support team of oracle.
->Cost efficient when compared with the competitors.
->Also learned that a new set of report dashboard that is introduced in the cloud seems to be much more efficient then the traditional on-premise dashboards
->It compresses of lot tables and procedures to store the data. If oracle can fine tune those and have minimum number of tables then it would good for developers.
->We can build custom procedures to change the application functionality as per the business needs
->Some times some unknown errors are encountered which requires technical support from the oracle team
->Introduction of cloud was little late , i was expecting that it would launched much earlier
->Although there are more competitions from the market such a JDA /SAP for retail solutions, i prefer Oracle RMS which has proven success track record for providing Retail solutions.
->We implemented end to end retail solutions for a European client where we used modules such as Store transfer, purchase order creation, invoice matching, tax rebating, and etc.
->overall the solution worked perfectly and satisfies the business users and needs.
->Competitive pricing than the vendors.
->More integrations is required to the other applications of oracle retail such as Oracle RPAS, and etc.
