After 17 Years a New Level of Data Warehouse
What do you like best?
When we talk about The ADW or Autonomous Data Warehouse we can not forget to mention the Elastic choice from our review. But many people ask about what it is the ADW? Does our Business Analyst need it? Well, it depends on your company; do you need scalability or no? do you need elasticity or no? Based on my experiences for about 17 years in the field, yes, we need that. The Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse is a cloud-based software that can change your view as a decision-maker inside your enterprise. No need for days and hours to let the DBA work to prepare the data in order to be used. Based on Oracle the ADW needs only a few information from you and Voila!! Up and running. George Lumpkin, VP Product Management Oracle, mention on a YouTube video that you need minimum effort from your DBA, and he/she can you the effort in doing other things such as creating users, designing tablespaces and schemas. The Business Intelligence people were looking for this kind of software for years where DBA needs to do nothing like a major preparation. Finally, you will ask about the cost, so based on Oracle the ADW prices depend on your company size, storage, CPUs and many other factors.

The Cost of Oracle ADW could be confusing sometimes and this due to many varieties of options available to choose from, but that I don't like honestly, I like to be straight and forward in the cost.

I am solving many problems from the Existence of the DBA by minimizing the needs, and also mainly am solving the problem of the scales elastically, fast query and inquiries...and many other benefits.
