I work at a government agency that awards regional businesses every year. Nexis is helpful in finding negative articles about dubious goings on within the businesses (e.g., scandals involving pension plans, personnel under investigation for possible crimes). We were able to compile bibliographies of news articles and print out the full text of the articles, then submitted results to the agency that awards the businesses. The agency was then able to evaluate whether the business nominated for the award was truly ethical and worthy of receiving the award.
