Neptune is a GNU/Linux Distribution for desktops based fully upon Debian 7.0 (‘Wheezy’), except for a newer kernel and some drivers. It ships with a modern KDE Plasma Desktop with its main view on a good looking multimedia system which allows for getting work done.

Advanced user of NeptuneDebian comes without additional programs installed and is difficult to configure for beginners or to perform simple tasks, Neptune offers particular services such as creating applications from the same Kernel with KDE desktop to make the system easier to use. The multimedia option is default in Neptune.
I do not see problems with Neptune, it is based on Debian a known and stable distribution to work and use personally.
Neptune is easy to use based on Debian, I recommend this system for your work, personal projects and any benefits you need in Linux.
I use Neptune with a standard KDE desktop, easier and faster than Debain, it is perfect for multimedia on the computer.
Neptune retains all the benefits of Debian.
