Advanced user of Motorola Solutions – MOTOBRIDGE INTEROPERABLE IP SOLUTIONI like the service Motorola put in to making the sale and altering the program to fit the needs of our department. Although they were compensated for their time and alterations, most times companies would not be open to rewriting code to suit an individual customer on the level and scope Motorola was.
The same points that are strong with Motorola including the revision of code I also find as a weakness. They were willing to take on whatever our department asked even though there were concerns over the program functioning correctly. Sometimes telling the client no, or can't be done for this platform with your OS is the job of the vendor.
Make certain of your MDC memory and processing as well as newest OS.
The biggest issue we have been working through is the CAD utilizing GPS for closest available units and turn by turn directions. This function still does not operate correctly.
