What do you like best?

Medhost allows users to see a map of the emergency department on the screen making patient location accessible. It also has built in templates for charting which can be useful for new scribes that are unfamiliar with certain medical terms/anatomical locations.

What do you dislike?

There is too much clicking involved in the process of doing a chart. The HPI portion is also not dictation compatible.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do not use Medhost. It is outdated, and takes up too much time with charting. Find something with dictation.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It prompts physicians for questions that are necessary for higher coding and therefore higher billing.
